Don’t wait until Oct. 31 to start Halloween fun — enjoy a frightful preview at Coral Gables’ first “Haunted Jaunt” from 5-11 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Fred B. Hartnett Ponce Circle Park, 2901 Ponce de Leon Blvd., and adjacent streets.
Featuring a ghoulish walk-through street fair experience, the celebration includes a costume contest with prizes and multiple categories such as Best Couple, Scariest, Most Techy, etc.
Vintage B&W horror movies will be shown on the park lawn, and drinks and food will be for sale, too. The Haunted Jaunt will circle the adjacent block and guests can walk through as many times as they wish. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
Tickets are just $20 and include admission to the Haunts, a drink ticket, raffle ticket, and a certificate book. Get a “Ghoulish Group” of 20 friends together and save 20% ($320 instead of $400 = $16 instead of $20). Proceeds benefit the Coral Gables Community Foundation.
