What is the Coral Gables Community Foundation’s Tour of Kitchens?

The 7th Annual Tour of Kitchens is a self-guided tour of Coral Gables’ most impressive private residence kitchens. The event will be held on Saturday, February 6th, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

How is the Tour of Kitchens structured?

The Tour of Kitchens starts with the Opening Event from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Snaidero Kitchen & Design, which is where you will check-in to receive your wristband (required to enter each home) and the Tour of Kitchens program booklet (which contains the map of all the Tour stops). At Snaidero, you may enjoy breakfast, coffee and mimosas while you browse the store’s showroom. Beginning at 10:00 AM, you may begin visiting the Tour stops. The stops will be open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and you may visit them in any order you like. Each stop will contain a free food sampling from a local restaurant, kitchen-related items for purchase and a stunning table-setting display by a local store for dining room inspiration. After you have visited each stop or as many as you can in the allotted time, you are welcome to attend the Closing Event at Ferguson Bath Kitchen & Lighting Gallery, which will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. At the Closing Event, delicious bites from local dessert shops and bakeries will be available and complimentary champagne will be served. The Closing Event will also feature a silent auction boasting must-have foodie, kitchen and home-related items as well as kitchen talks by noted designers.

Are only houses on the tour?

Most of the stops on the Tour of Kitchens are houses, but sometimes businesses are featured stops as well. This year, Scavolini Store Miami and the Merrick Manor Sales Gallery will be stops on the Tour.

How much is the Tour of Kitchens?
