The CoralGables@HOME 2011 TOUR of KITCHENS was followed by a LUNCHEON at the picturesque Country Club Prado entrance at SW 8th Street decorated by Caidal Events.
Guests gathered to enjoy fare from Rincon Argentino and wines from Riondo USA, followed by coffee from Panera Bread and desserts from Seasons 52. A Raffle was drawn for 7 prizes ranging in value from $200 to $1,500. The weather was beautiful and guests lingered long after the luncheon was over. This was the first time the City gave permission for an event to be held at this location. A popular place for brides and young ladies taking pictures for their quinceñeras (there were 3 there that day), the atmosphere was enhanced by the sound of the fountains and by the beautiful instrumental guitar performance by Coral Gables Community Foundation Board Member John Adams. Guests were treated to an informal fashion show featuring local residents modeling men’s and women’s clothing from Caché, Marche, and My Best Friend’s Closet.
