Coral Gables Community Foundation Board Member & Immediate Past Chairman, Carlos F. Garcia, CPA, CVA, CGMA, has joined Hancock Askew as the Managing Partner of its Miami office. After opening its doors this February, the firm continues its expansion in Miami with the addition of new team members.

I’m honored to be leading the new office of such a distinguished and long-established firm and as our local team grows, we will be able to continue to provide excellent client service in the areas of tax, accounting, auditing and consulting” said Carlos.
Carlos has over 25 years of experience in both public accounting and private business. He started his career at Deloitte & Touche, LLP and has gained significant experience in the areas of auditing, merger and acquisition assistance and consulting as it relates primarily to real estate, healthcare, restaurants and hospitality, manufacturing, not-for-profits, professional services and technology. Carlos received his Bachelors of Accounting from the University of Miami and MBA studies from Florida International University. In addition to his role on the Foundation Board of Directors, Carlos was recently named the Vice Chairman of the Coral Gables Art Cinema.
