The Coral Gables Community Foundation is proud to continue its tradition of supporting local nonprofits through the 2025 Community Grants Program. This initiative helps fund the organizations that make Coral Gables a wonderful place.
Who Can Apply?
The program is open to nonprofit organizations whose work benefits the people or geography of Coral Gables. While individuals and for-profit companies are not eligible, past grant recipients are welcome to apply again.
How the Process Works
The Community Grants Program follows a two-step application process:
- Letters of Inquiry (LOI) – Due by February 28, 2025.
- Full Proposals — Selected LOI’s will be invited by the Community Foundation to submit a full application due in early April. The Grants Committee then reviews submissions, and awards are announced at a Grants Reception event in June.
Funding Levels
Most grants fall between $1,000 and $3,000, but standout programs—especially from well-established grantees—may receive up to $10,000.
How to Strengthen Your Application
For help crafting your Letter of Inquiry, consider these two tips:
- Join an online chat with Grants Program Manager Robertson Adams on Friday, Feb. 14th to get guidance. More here.
- Submitting multiple LOIs (two or three different project ideas) can improve your chances of finding the best fit.
