Rolando Rodriguez Named Interim CEO, Replacing Mary Snow, Who Joins Board of Directors
CORAL GABLES, FL – [February 28, 2025] – The Coral Gables Community Foundation today announced that it has appointed Rolando D. Rodriguez, CFRE, as interim CEO while it launches a search for its next leader. Rodriguez replaces Mary Snow, who over the last decade increased annual community impact from less than $100,000 to over $5 million.
“We are deeply grateful to Mary for her extraordinary leadership and dedication,” said Michael Walsh, Chair of the Board of Directors and principal at Evensky & Katz Foldes. “Her vision and hard work have elevated the Foundation to new heights, and we are thrilled that she will continue to contribute to our success as a member of the Board of Directors.”
Walsh will lead the search committee supported by Snow and fellow board members Michael McCarthy, Vice President of Operations and Brand Optimization at Silversea, and Matthew Meehan, entrepreneur and philanthropist.
Rodriguez was selected based on his 30+ years of experience in developing fundraising foundations and engaging boards to help non-profit organizations expand their revenue exponentially. For the last three years he has been the steward of the Foundations’ strategic planning process.
Walsh noted that Rodriquez was an obvious choice to serve as interim CEO. “Rolando not only knows the Foundation inside and out, but he is also a force for accountability, and we expect a smooth transition while the search progresses.”
