Your Coral Gables Community Foundation was delighted to help 50 Carver Elementary School families in need of a Thanksgiving meal with a donation of Publix gift cards to cover the expense.

This gift was made possible thanks in part to the generosity of Vice Mayor Mike Mena, Commissioner Jorge Fors, the Coral Gables Firefighters Benevolent Association, EPGD Law, Nelson Hernandez, Les Pantin, Gabriel Garay and other giving souls in our community.

We are proud to feature CGCF Fund WAAM, Women Artists Archive Miami, and encourage you to support them this Give Miami Day.

WAAM is excited to be participating in Give Miami Day, Miami's biggest annual-giving event, for the first time.

Archival work happens behind the scenes but it is important to remember that archives are about people first and foremost.

As a grassroots archive, WAAM relies on grants, fundraising and giving initiatives such as Give Miami Day to continue their work to preserve the creative contributions of communities who have been left out of the historical record. ⁣

Your support will help WAAM create more pathways to empower and increase visibility for women artists and cultural producers. ⁣

Early giving started on Monday, Nov 15 at 12:00 am and runs through Thursday, Nov 18 at 11:59 pm.
