Biography: Mary Snow

Mary Snow is the President and CEO of the Coral Gables Community Foundation.

In her role, Mary oversees the Foundation’s community outreach, fundraising and grant efforts as well as donor and Board relations for the Foundation. The Coral Gables Community Foundation provides the philanthropic conduit to connect individuals and corporations looking to positively impact the success of the community. Led by community leaders and through its discretionary, donor-advised, endowment and scholarship funds, the Foundation works to enhance the quality of life for people who live, work, learn and play in the City Beautiful. Responsible for the Foundation’s daily operations, Mary also leads the organization’s fund relations, grants and scholarship programs, manages the annual fundraising initiatives and events as well as directs the organization’s community outreach efforts in the Foundation’s areas of focus of education, historic preservation, health and enhancements to arts and culture in the community. Mary has planned and executed several successful fundraising events, each time surpassing goals and previous achievements.

Prior to joining the Coral Gables Community Foundation, Mary served as Managing Director of Client Relations for The Washington Economics Group (WEG) in Coral Gables and before that, was a registered lobbyist and government relations professional for Robert M. Levy & Associates. These positions called for her to spend time working with elected officials on both sides of the aisle throughout the state. Mary’s years with Robert M. Levy and WEG taught her excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills that she carried forward to her
current position.

Mary recently completed Leadership Florida’s Connect Institute Class VIII. She is a member of Beaux Arts in support of the Lowe Art Museum, the School and Community Relations Committee of the City of Coral Gables and is a panel member of the Developing Arts in Neighborhoods Grants Program of Miami-Dade County. Mary is also an ex-officio Board Member of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce. A life-long resident of Coral Gables, Mary is a graduate of Florida State University. She resides in Coral Gables with her husband and
little boy.
