‘Under the Cherry Blossom Sky:
A Gala at the Imperial Palace’

Coral Gables will celebrate under the Cherry Blossom Sky for an evening of Imperial Japanese culture!

Join the Coral Gables Community Foundation and event chairs Sissy DeMaria-Koehne and Sadia Raja Alfonso on Friday, October 13th for “Under the Cherry Blossom Sky: A Gala at the Imperial Palace,” a celebration of all things Japanese.

Patrons of “Under the Cherry Blossom Sky” will enjoy a dazzling gastronomic experience, live music and special performances, including karaoke as well as have the opportunity to bid on silent auctions featuring travel experiences and luxury goods and services, with all proceeds benefiting the important work of the Community Foundation.

A time-honored tradition for the “City Beautiful,” the annual black-tie fundraiser benefits the Coral Gables Community Foundation’s community grant making and scholarship programs, while honoring several luminaries of the Coral Gables community. Patrons are known to dress up lively in theme, often donning costumes in lieu of tuxedos and gowns. Colorful silk kimonos are expected to be in demand this year.
