About the Tour

Now in its 15th year, the Tour of Kitchens is a self-guided tour of beautiful homes and kitchens in Coral Gables. Taking place on Saturday, February 10, 2024, the event draws 900 local affluent foodies and home-design enthusiasts from Coral Gables, and surrounding neighborhoods for an experience allowing guests to peek into beautiful private residences while indulging in bites and sips from local restaurants and spirits brands.

The Cause

Your sponsorship of the Tour of Kitchens benefits the Coral Gables Community Foundation and the Culinary Arts program at Coral Gables High School, providing scholarships for the students to attend culinary school, funding for the maintenance of an organic vegetable garden on the school’s campus, industrial kitchen equipment, ovens, and more. This event has grown into a community favorite and is supported by the City of Coral Gables. Additionally, funds are used to support the Foundation’s annual college scholarship and grant making efforts.

After Party

Join us for the Closing Event “AFTER PARTY.” Unwind with live music and food, and discounts at many of the shops and restaurants at The Shops at Merrick Park.

Frequent Questions

Where does the Tour start?

The Tour begins at 9 a.m. with the Opening Event in the courtyard at the Shops at Merrick Park. Here you will check in to receive your wristband – required to enter each home – and the Tour of Kitchens program booklet – which contains the map and addresses of all the Tour stops. Parking is available in the garage at Merrick Park. Metered parking is also available on the streets surrounding.

When can I start Touring?

The opening event/registration begins at 9:00 am and ends at 11:00 am. The homes on the Tour open at 10 am.

At 10:00 am, you may begin visiting the stops in any order you choose until 2:30 pm. Each stop will contain a decadent food sample from a local restaurant, kitchen-related items for sale and a stunning table-setting display by a local store for dining room inspiration.

Q. Do I have to print my ticket?

Nope! You can check in at the Opening Event at the Shops at Merrick Park with your email confirmation or just your name. You will then receive your wristband. It is important to keep your wristband on all day as you will not be granted entry into any of the stops without your wristband.

Q. Is transportation provided for the Tour?

No. The Tour of Kitchens is a self-guided tour, therefore you are responsible for your own transportation. However, we offer the following fabulous transportation options so you can take the Tour in style!

Q. What’s the refund policy?

There are no refunds. Your ticket is a charitable donation to the Coral Gables Community Foundation and the Culinary Arts Fund, which provides support and scholarships for the Culinary Arts Program at Coral Gables Senior High School.

Important notes

  • We regret that we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs or strollers.
  • Children 10+ are not permitted without a ticket.
  • We highly discourage the attendance of children under 10 due to the nature of the event.
  • Alcohol will be served to adults 21+ only.
  • Smoking and pets are not permitted in or around the stops.

The Coral Gables Community Foundation is not responsible for any liability, damages or costs that may arise from participation in the Tour of Kitchens, from participating in activity involved and from any consequence involved in participation including travel to and from the Tour.
