Financial Partners Program
The Coral Gables Community Foundation’s “Financial Partners Program” is for investment advisors who want to maintain investment management for clients who establish charitable funds with the foundation. This program allows financial advisors to partner with the foundation, enabling their clients to create a charitable fund while the advisor continues to manage the assets. To qualify, advisors must be in business for at least five years, have over $500 million in assets under management, and have accounts with balances of $250,000 or more.
For investment advisors
Program goal: To allow advisors to maintain investment management of client assets when the client establishes a charitable fund with the Coral Gables Community Foundation
Client benefits: Clients can create a charitable fund, maximize potential income tax deductions, and benefit from the foundation’s administrative and grantmaking expertise while keeping investment under their advisor’s management
Partnership benefits: It provides advisors with a way to serve their clients’ philanthropic interests and strengthens client relationships
Eligibility
- In business for at least five years
- Have at least $500 million in assets under management.
- Have accounts with a balance of $250,000 or more from one or more donors
