Charitable Funds at the Coral Gables Community Foundation

The Coral Gables Community Foundation is a collection of charitable funds established by individuals, families, corporations, or organizations, and administered under the guidance of the Foundation’s Board of Directors. DONOR ADVISED FUNDS

A Donor Advised Fund at the Coral Gables Community Foundation allows individuals, families, and businesses to establish a named charitable fund, contribute to it over time, and recommend grants to the causes they care about most — all while the Foundation handles the administration. It’s one of the most flexible and tax-efficient ways to give, and your fund becomes a lasting part of the Coral Gables philanthropic community.

FISCAL SPONSORSHIP FUNDS

Not every worthy cause needs its own nonprofit corporation. Groups operating under the Foundation’s fiscal sponsorship can use our 501(c)(3) status to accept tax-deductible donations and conduct charitable solicitation in Florida — legally and legitimately, without the burden of incorporating a standalone organization. Many of these funds support schools, civic groups, and other community organizations with an ongoing presence in Coral Gables.

The Foundation administers scholarship funds established in honor of individuals, families, and community milestones. These funds provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher education, and many carry on the legacy of people who shaped the life of Coral Gables.
