In partnership with the City of Coral Gables, the Coral Gables Community Foundation offers The Commemorative Bench Program. The program provides a meaningful way for people, organizations and companies to honor the legacy of a loved one, a special milestone, or commemorative event with a bench in one of the City’s green spaces or parks.

Within your preferred park, a brand new bench will be installed with a plaque in one of the City’s beautiful green spaces or parks. Please submit your proposed plaque inscription for approval on the Commemorative Bench Application. The commemorative benches are 6 feet long, UV and moisture resistant and have an estimated 15-year lifetime.  Benches are available for most of the City of Coral Gables Parks. Request your desired park and we’ll inquire about availability.

Bench locations are subject to availability and approval.

The cost of the commemorative bench is tax deductible. Pricing includes the bench, installation and the plaque. Please make checks payable to the Coral Gables Community Foundation. Credit cards are also accepted.

Please allow 6-8 weeks for commemorative bench orders to be fulfilled.
