The Erickson Zoellers Engineering Scholarship
The Erickson Zoellers Engineering Scholarship provides four-year college tuition assistance to a graduating senior from Coral Gables Senior High School who plans to pursue a career in engineering. It was established by his Chris W. Erickson and Joseph Zoellers, to support educational opportunities for deserving high school graduates.
ELIGIBLE STUDENTS
- Applicants must have attended Coral Gables Senior High School for at least two years including the senior year.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Overall GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Letter of Recommendation
- SAT or ACT test score
- Must intend to study and pursue a career in engineering
- Possess a financial need
VALUE
The value of this four-year scholarship is $10,000 over the course of 4 years. The scholarship is distributed in $2,500 installments per year for 4 years.
MAINTENANCE
In order to maintain the scholarship installment payments, the recipient must maintain a 3.0 GPA throughout his/her college studies and send transcripts to the Foundation upon completion of each academic year.
