Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida is working to restore the front entrance of Camp Mahachee, a 74-year-old campground in the heart of Coral Gables.

Volunteers will be collecting litter, helping to remove invasive species, and relocating small pieces of wood from the 1 ½ acre front entrance area. Community Service hours are available.

Things to remember:

• Wear closed-toed shoes and long pants.
• Hats and sunscreen are recommended.
• Don’t forget your reusable water bottle.
